Democrat Andy Manar has been declared the winner in the 48th Senate District race against Republican Seth McMillan.
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Manar had 57 percent of the vote with a total of 41,789 votes.
McMillan received 43 percent of the vote with a total of 31,922 votes.
