Nokomis Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 29.
The Nokomis Chamber of Commerce is now taking nominations for its Business of the Year and its Person of the Year. Put your nomination and the reasons for the nomination in an email and send it to jbroux@pananewsgroup.com, edh@fnbnokomis.com or roger@consolidated.net. Deadline for entries is Jan. 7.
The Chamber of Commerce annual dinner will be held on Monday, Jan. 21 at Town Pump Bowl. Special speaker for the event will be Heather Hampton-Knodle. Meal will be the smoked brisket as we had last year. Cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple.
