Report: Irvington spent $10,028 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Irvington Community Consolidated School District 11 is up 1 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Washington County school district spent $9,933 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,028 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 71 to 57.

Irvington's spending in 2017-18 was 24.8 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
