Administrators in Selmaville Community Consolidated School District 10 earn an average of $128,235 per year, ranking 87th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 8.2% higher than in 2014 and 58.1% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 19.5% more than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Marion County school district enrolled 273 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 273 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
