Taylor Springs home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Taylor Springs rose by $45,500 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $59,000 - a 337% increase over the $13,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Taylor Springs in the second quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Taylor Springs for 2017 was $649.06. In 2016, the median sales tax was $693.70. This marks an decrease of 6.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
