Bunker Hill home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Bunker Hill fell by $32,300 while total sales decreased by 54.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $55,000 - a 37% decrease over the $87,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Bunker Hill in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Bunker Hill for 2017 was $1,545.78. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,509.30. This marks an increase of 2.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
