Centralia home prices fall in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Centralia fell by $28,500 while total sales decreased by 10.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $29,000 - a 49.6% decrease over the $57,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Centralia in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Centralia for 2017 was $941. In 2016, the median sales tax was $941, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.2%.
