Taylorville Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on April 29.
Taylorville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary hosted another babysitting clinic on April 4.
Twenty students were taught how to care for an infant and learned CPR for sitters. Staff from the Taylorville Police Department and Fire Department presented valuable information on how to proceed in an emergency and students also learned how to make fun and easy snacks.
“The information the students receive at the babysitting clinic is so important. Parents want to know their children are in good hands and we are pleased to help train these young sitters to be the best caregivers,” said Jane Davis, TMH Auxiliary president.
At the conclusion of the day-long clinic, students were presented with their graduation certificate.
The babysitting clinic will be hosted again on June 27. For more information on the next clinic, call 824-1601 or email TMHContact@mhsil.com.
