Macoupin County Road and Bridge Committee met April 3.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

I. CALL TO ORDER

PRESENT: Wieseman, Quarton, Armour, Harding, Kiel, Long, Wiggins, Reinhart

ABSENT:

II. 50/50 PETITIONS

The following 50/50 project petitions were presented:

The County’s obligation for the projects will be the “County Share” only.

Motion made by Kiel seconded by Wiggins to approve the petitions and recommend passage by the full board.

III. NEW BUSINESS

1. Resolution approving the results of the 2019 MFT oil and patch letting

The Committee reviewed the results of the March 27th Motor Fuel Tax oil and patch letting for the county and townships. The following motion was made:

Motion made by Quarton, seconded by Harding to approve and recommend to the full board a resolution to accept the bids and award contracts to the low bidders.

RESULT: MOTION TO RECOMMEND [UNANIMOUS]

MOVER: Robert Quarton, Vice Chair

SECONDER: Bill Harding, Member

AYES: Wieseman, Quarton, Armour, Harding, Kiel, Long, Wiggins
