Carlyle home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Carlyle fell by $7,500 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $70,500 - a 9.6% decrease over the $78,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Carlyle in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Carlyle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,742, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
