Germantown home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Germantown rose by $80,000 while total sales decreased by 57.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 177.8% increase over the $45,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Germantown in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Germantown for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,338, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
