Aviston home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Aviston fell by $79,469 while total sales decreased by 52.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $60,532 - a 56.8% decrease over the $140,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Aviston in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Aviston for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,706, approximately 4.5% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
