Carlyle home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Carlyle fell by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 36.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,000 - a 1.9% decrease over the $108,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Carlyle in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Carlyle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,742, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
