Germantown home prices fall in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Germantown fell by $21,500 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $114,000 - a 15.9% decrease over the $135,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Germantown in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Germantown for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,338, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
