Carlyle home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Carlyle rose by $39,601 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $110,101 - a 56.2% increase over the $70,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Carlyle in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Carlyle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,742, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
