Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Washington County?

There were four offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live in Washington County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that two men and two women were released in Washington County. The median age of the parolees was 31. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2017, and the oldest was a 41-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Patricia T. Koepke. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017 when she was 27 years old. She is now 29.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter in each Washington County municipality.
