There was one offender released on parole during 2018 that lives in Butler zip code 62015, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Hardt Sachs. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, when he was 45. He is now 47.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
