HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese issued the following announcement on April 15.
HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese has teamed up with HeartsForHealthcare.com to raise money for the HSHS St. Joseph’s Foundation. By visiting heartsforhealthcare.com you can purchase Hearts for Healthcare Workers yard signs and t-shirts to join a movement that is benefiting local COVID-19 response efforts.
“Healthcare workers throughout our region are giving their all to protect our community from the COVID-19 virus,” said Chris Klay, president and CEO of St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese. “We’re grateful for the support of HeartsforHealthcare.com to lead this initiative that supports local healthcare workers in this challenging time.”
For every sign and t-shirt purchased by residents in Clinton County, heartsforhealthcare.com will donate $5 to the St. Joseph’s Breese Foundation. Funds raised from this initiative will be available to help our local hospital with added costs associated our COVID-19 response efforts; like the purchase of additional personal protective equipment, unique equipment rental, additional sanitation supply purchases and colleague emergency assistance funds.
Search for @hearts4hc on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see the support for healthcare workers spread across the community. Community members are also invited to post photos of their own sign or t-shirt and use the hashtag #asignofsupport.
