There were two offenders convicted of drug crimes released on parole in Keyesport during the second half of 2019, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the South Central Reporter.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Keyesport were women. The younger parolee was a 35-year-old woman sentenced in 2019. The other was a 36-year-old woman sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Johni K. Johnson. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018 when she was 35 years old. She is now 36.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders during the second half of 2019 who were convicted of drug crimes.
