Illinois State House District 115 issued the following announcement on July 7.
MURPHYSBORO – State Representative Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) will host a free prescription drug drop off event in Carbondale next week.
On Wednesday, July 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM, Rep. Bryant will join with members of the Carbondale police department and fellow State Rep. Patrick Windhorst to collect expired or unneeded medications to be properly disposed of.
Residents may drop off unused, expired, or unneeded medications, patches, vitamins and pet medicines. Restricted items include hypodermic needles and illegal drugs.
