Illinois State House District 95 issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
Eight years ago, Avery Bourne (R-Morrisonville) joined the bone marrow registry with hopes that one day she would be able to help someone battling blood cancer. A month ago she learned she was a match.
Rep. Bourne recently spoke with the radio hosts for the WMAY morning show about her decision to sign up for the registry. They also spoke about current legislative issues in Illinois. Click here to listen to the interview.
