Irvington Fire Protection District responded to eight calls in 2018 - 33.3 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Irvington included seven fires - three structure fires, two vehicle fires and two other fires.

In all, the department saw $11,000 in fire loss - or about $1,571 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Irvington Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $60,373 in 2017.
