Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Montgomery County?

There were 15 offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Montgomery County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that eight men and seven women were released in Montgomery County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old woman sentenced for a crime against a person in 2017, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brian A. Wilson. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2014 when he was 25 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2020 in each Montgomery County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
