Motion to approve and direct the Mayor to sign the Paw Paw Street Drainage Design Engineering Proposal with Benton & Associates at an estimated cost of $35,900.00

Motion to approve the direct the Mayor to sign the 2020 ITEP Application Assistance Agreement with Benton & Associates at a cost not to exceed $4,200.00

Motion to approve the purchase of hard drives for Police Dispatch and Work Stations, total of 5 computers, at a cost not to exceed $1,222.57 per computer

Motion to approve the continued sponsorship contribution to the Christian County CEO Program of $1,000.00 annually over three years

Motion to approve a Class O Liquor License for Tangles Salon, pending receipt of proper application and verification of location of the gaming area

Motion to approve the payment of back taxes and any outstanding liens, and begin the demolition process of 711 West Poplar at an approximate cost of $5,000.00

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Discussions and/or Motions to approve/adopt and/or deny and/or table and/or amend and/or refer to an appropriate Committee in whole or in part the matters regarding the following subject matters discussed at the Committee level:

Street & Sewer –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Superintendent Mann to build a concrete pit area with a drain at the Street Department, at a cost not to exceed $1,500.00

Motion to recommend to the City Council to proceed with exhibit C and D and have Benton and Associates begin engineering, at a cost not to exceed $110,000.00 plus engineering fees

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Benton and Associates to complete the application for the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP) grant

Emergency Services -

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Chief Wheeler to purchase two Police Radios from Global Technical Solutions at a cost not to exceed $3,100.00, which includes all accessories

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Chief Wheeler to purchase two tasers and four Tactical Performance Power Magazines from Axon Enterprise Inc. at a cost not to exceed $2,498.00

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the City adopting the “10 Shared Principles” and direct the Mayor and Chief Wheeler to sign

Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($134,069.47)

• Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City. The Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.) mandates NO action shall be taken on subject matters not listed on the agenda, but the Council may direct staff to address the topic or refer the subject matter to a future Council and/or Committee Meeting.
