Christmas

City of Carlyle recently issued the following announcement.

When: Dec 5 at 11 AM UTC+13 – Dec 7 at 4 PM UTC+13

Where: Messiah Lutheran Church, Carlyle Illinois

Come wander through the wonderland of fully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths in a beautiful, peaceful and socially distanced setting.

Cast your vote for your favorites! Prizes will be awarded for People's Choice in small tree, large tree and wreath category.

2020 has been the year of the "Hometown Heroes". Those healthcare workers, teachers, daycare providers, grandparents, friends, delivery personnel, pastors, firefighters, police officers, florists, spouses, the list goes on.....those folks that rose up and met the community needs deserve to be recognized with a unique tree!

This is a free community event open to the public! All wreaths and donated trees will be ticket auctioned on Sunday night at Festival close. Any proceeds will benefit Messiah Lutheran Preschool and "In Christ's Care" latchkey programs.

FOREST HOURS:

Friday, December 4: 4-8pm

Saturday, December 5: 12-8pm

Sunday, December 6: 12-8pm

We will be taking safety precautions to keep our Festival healthy!

Contact Janet @ (618)531-3328 for more info or to claim a spot for your decorated tree or wreath. (Not all decorated trees will be available to win.)
