City of Carlinville City Council met Oct. 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

PRESENT: Alderman Harber, Alderman Downey, Alderman Howard, Alderman Koller, Alderman Link, Alderman McClain, Alderman Ober, Alderman Oswald, City Attorney Dan O’Brien, City Clerk Carla Brockmeier, City Treasurer/Budget Officer Jody Reichmann, Police Chief Haley Absent: Mayor Demuzio, Alderman Oswald chaired the meeting

Approval of Previous Minutes - Motion was made by Alderman Ober to approve minutes, seconded by Link, motion passed unanimously.

Approval of Treasurer’s Report/Police Report - Motion made to approve all listed by Alderman Downey, seconded by McClain, motion passed unanimously.

Bills - Motion made to approve the bills by Alderman Koller, seconded by Howard, motion passed unanimously.

Correspondence - None

Public Comment

Alderman Oswald announced that roof replacement at city hall will begin on Oct. 21st

Alderman Oswald also thanked the fire and police departments for their efforts during the multiple fires that took place last week.

Old Business

Consideration to Proceed with Request For Proposal for Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract – tabled

Frontier Property Contract – tabled

New Business

Woodard & Curran Funding Opportunities – tabled

Motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Downey at 6:05 p.m., seconded by Ober motion passed unanimously.
