Motion to approve Partial Pay Request #1 for the RP Lumber Sewer Extension in the amount of $53,725.50, per approval of the City Engineer, pending receipt of lien waivers from Excavating Partners, Inc.

Motion to approve Contract Change Order #1 for the RP Lumber Sewer Extension increase in the amount of $750.00 per approval by the City Engineer

Emergency Services –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Police Chief Wheeler to purchase one IR Night Vision at a cost not to exceed $1,299.00 

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Police Chief Wheeler to purchase three Portable Alcohol Breath Testers at a cost of $159.99 each

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Police Chief Wheeler to purchase Enclosed Evidence Technician Trailer at a cost not to exceed $15,000.00

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Fire Chief Adermann to apply for the OSFM Grant for the purchase of turnout gear

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Fire Chief Adermann to order three chain saws at a cost not to exceed $4,500.00

Personnel –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to bid and/or advertise one (1) Laborer position at the Lake Department

Motion to recommend to the City Council to pay Officer Greg Just, Officer Rachel Priddy, and Officer Jody Grove holiday pay owed for Veteran’s Day(November 11, 2020), Thanksgiving Day(November 26, 2020), day after Thanksgiving(November 27, 2020), Christmas Eve(December 24, 2020) and Christmas Day(December 25, 2020) as well as continuing all holiday pay for these three police officers moving forward

Water/Environmental –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve HBO Goodall to pay the judgement amount of $10,939.18 to the City of Taylorville to release the lien on the property located at 1423 West Adams Street

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the low bid for hydrogen peroxide from Brenntag Mid-South for a price of $0.25 per lb.

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the low bid for phosphoric acid to Hawkins Chemical for a price of $0.7131 per lb.

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the low bid for service line materials to Schulte Supply for a price of $25,690.60

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the draft agreement to allow CTI to place an antenna on the High School Water Tower at a cost of $200.00 per month for twelve months, with a 3% yearly escalator, and to adopt the Ordinance with said agreement

Lake/Airport –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the changes made by City Attorney Romano to the 2021-2022 Lake Lot and Campground Leases

Motion to recommend to the City Council to begin the bid process for Cabin Cleaning and Sanitation Services for the Lake for the 2021/2022 season

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the agreement between the City of Taylorville and Fairl Lane for fish removal from Lake Taylorville at a rate of $.05 per pound for Carp and Buffalo if no live truck is used, or $.10 if a live truck is used

Motion to recommend to the City Council to bid and/or advertise the Lake Marina Clerk permanent part-time position

Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($214,530.98)

• Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City.
