Kaskaskia College issued the following announcement on Feb. 26.

Kaskaskia College is partnering with 160 Driving Academy to offer more frequent commercial driver’s license (CDL) courses.

Courses start every Monday for a 4-week total class. The program features a structure of one week of classroom work and three weeks of hands-on training behind the wheel. Classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All students should be able to pass a drug test and physical. Financial aid or payment plans may be available for eligible students.

Via the program, all students will have the opportunity to take the Illinois Secretary of State-administered Class A test and earn a CDL. 160 Driving Academy has partnerships with several employers to help all graduates find their first job as truck drivers.
