City of Carlinville City Council met June 21.

PRESENT: Alderman Downey, Alderman Harber, Alderman Koller, Alderman LeVora, Alderman Link, Alderman McClain, Alderman Ober, Alderman Wagstaff, Mayor Sarah Oswald, City Clerk Carla Brockmeier, Police Chief Haley Absent: City Treasurer Jody Reichmann, Woodard and Curran Representative Dan Held
Approval of Previous Minutes - Motion was made by Alderman Ober to approve minutes, seconded by Link, motion passed unanimously.
Approval of Bills/Police Report/Treasurers Report - Motion made to approve bills and reports by Alderman Koller, seconded Ober, motion passed unanimously.
Correspondence
Rotary Club Correspondence- motion was made by Alderman McClain to approve ice cream social in the middle of the square and place on file, seconded by Harber, motion passed unanimously.

Old Business
Jeanne Supple/Blackburn Alumni Event – motion was made to approve street closure for Blackburn Alumni Event by Alderman Harber, seconded by LeVora, motion passed unanimously.
MFT Program 2021 – MFT Program was approved for 2021 after a motion was made by Alderman Ober, seconded by Koller, motion passed unanimously.
Lake Lease Transfer from Emmons to Kellerman – Motion was made to transfer lease from Emmons to Kellerman by Alderman McClain, seconded by Harber, motion passed unanimously.
Lake Campground Retaining Wall Approval – Motion was made to approve replacing retaining wall for the price of $16,000.00 by Alderman McClain, seconded by Harber, motion passed unanimously.
Part-Time Employee Hire/Lake Campground – Motion was made to hire Linda Baxter for $11.00 per hour, no more than 20 hours a week, by Alderman Harber, seconded by Link, motion passed unanimously.
New Business
Approve Purchase Offer for Miller Cabin - tabled
National Pollinator Week June 21st-27th – Mayor read through a list of activities that are happening locally this week for National Pollinator Week.
Motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Downey at 6:14 p.m., seconded by Koller motion passed unanimously.
