City of Carlinville City Council met July 19.

PRESENT: Alderman Downey, Alderman Harber, Alderman Koller, Alderman LeVora, Alderman Link, Alderman McClain, Alderman Wagstaff, Mayor Sarah Oswald, City Clerk Carla Brockmeier, Police Chief Haley, Brian Zilm Zoning/Economic Dev/Grant Writing Absent: City Treasurer Jody Reichmann, Woodard and Curran Representative Dan Held, Alderman Ober
Approval of Previous Minutes - Motion was made by Alderman Wagstaff to approve minutes, seconded by Harber, motion passed unanimously.
Approval of Bills/Police Report/Treasurers Report - Motion made to approve bills and reports by Alderman Link, seconded Koller, motion passed unanimously.
Correspondence
Bee City Correspondence – Motion was made to approve and place Bee City Correspondence on file allowing use of the square July 28th at 7:00 p.m., by Alderman McClain, seconded by LeVora, motion passed unanimously.
Brian Zilm Correspondence – Motion was made to accept resignation of Brian Zilm from the Zoning Board, due to his new position within the city, by Alderman Harber, seconded by Link, motion passed unanimously.
Public Comment - None
Old Business
Approve Offer on Miller Cabin – Alderman Harber made a suggestion to counter as the city for $24,000.00 without an inspection, the offer was for $24,000.00, pending inspection. A motion was made to make the counter offer by Alderman LeVora, seconded by Link, motion passed unanimously.
Moose Cabin Reservations – Alderman Koller made a motion to allow seasonal campers to pay $20.00 to rent the old Moose cabin, which is now owned by the city, and anyone other than seasonal campers pay $50.00, seconded by LeVora, motion passed unanimously.
New Business
Lease Cabin Transfer from Lyles to Mohr – Motion was made to approve lease transfer from Lyles to Mohr by Alderman Koller, seconded by LeVora, motion passed unanimously.
Lease Cabin Transfer from Blandford to Adams - Motion was made by Alderman Harber to approve lease transfer from Blandford to Adams, seconded by LeVora, motion passed unanimously.
Motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Downey at 6:15 p.m., seconded by Koller motion passed unanimously.
