The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Rodney L. Davis, Rodney for Congress, refunded $1,000 to James L. Ayers on March 10, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Rodney for Congress has refunded $31,925 total since Oct. 1, 2020.
