Report: Germantown School District spent $7,086 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Germantown School District 60 was up 4.7 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Clinton County school district spent $6,769 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $7,086 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 265 to 256 students over the same period.

Germantown's spending in 2019-20 was 51.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
