City of Litchfield City Council met Feb. 17
Here are the minutes provided by the council:
The meeting was offered remotely due to the COVID- 19 public health emergency.
Mayor Steven Dougherty called the Regular Meeting to order at 6: 30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present on roll call were Alderpersons Dave Hollo, Mark Brown, Kassidy Paine, Woodrow Street and Ray Kellenberger( remote). Absent: Dwayne Gerl, Marilyn Sisson, Timothy Wright. The mayor declared that a quorum was present.
Other Business:
Alderperson Street made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Brown to accept the minutes from the February 10, 2022 meeting.
The Mayor directed a roll call vote.
Aye: Hollo, Brown, Paine, Street, Kellenberger.
Nay: None.
Absent: Gerl, Sisson, Wright.
Motion carried.

Lake:
Alderson Hollo made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Brown to approve a Resolution for the proposed Seasonal Staff pay rates.
The Mayor directed a roll call vote.
Aye: Hollo, Brown, Paine, Street, Kellenberger.
Nay: None.
Absent: Gerl, Sisson, Wright.
Motion carried.
Alderperson Hollo made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Paine to authorize the Litchfield Lake Department to renew contract services with Laura Poole for weekend and holiday cleaning services of the Comfort Stations throughout the Lake Lou Yaeger Recreational Area for the 2022 Season to be billed at a monthly rate of$400.
The Mayor directed a roll call vote.

Absent: Gerl, Sisson, Wright.

Sewer:
Alderperson Street made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Hollo to approve a quote from Durbin Excavating for$ 12, 760.00 for South Side Ditch Improvements and authorize the city Clerk to issue payment upon completion.

Nay: None.

Plan Commission/Zoning:
Alderperson Kellenberger made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Street to approve a request for an Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance" for a" Zoning Change" from (M-F) Multi-family to (C- 1) Neighborhood Commercial to correct prior Ordinance# 3427 regarding zoning of certain property. Location of property known as Professional Plaza, with parcel pin numbers 10- 34- 326-052 and 10- 34- 326-028.

Nay: None.
Absent: Gerl, Sisson, Wright.

Alderperson Kellenberger made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Street to approve a request for an Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance" for a" Zoning Change" from (M-F) Multi-family to ( C- 1) Neighborhood Commercial for the purpose of constructing a Recreational Center, location of the property owned by Professional Plaza located adjacent and south of the Yaeger Place Condominiums, with parcel pin numbers: 10- 34- 326- 062, 10- 34- 326-077 and 10- 34-326- 051.
The Mayor directed a roll call vote.
Aye: Hollo, Brown, Paine, Street, Kellenberger.
Nay: None.
Absent: Gerl, Sisson, Wright.

Having no further business, Alderperson Kellenberger made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Street to adjourn the regular meeting ofthe Litchfield City Council. The Mayor called for a voice vote, motion carried, and the regular meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
