Centralia median home prices rose by 10.6% in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Centralia rose by $7,100 while total sales increased by 22.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 136 homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,000 - a 10.6 percent increase over the $66,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 111 homes sold in Centralia in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Centralia for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $998, approximately 1.3 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
