Rising home prices in Patoka in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Patoka rose by $20,500 while total sales decreased by 30 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $65,000 - a 46.1 percent increase over the $44,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Patoka in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Patoka for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $991, approximately 1.5 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
