City of Assumption Streets Committee met Oct. 12.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman Reed at City Hall.
Streets Committee members present were Chairman Reed and Nelsen. Also present was Street Supt Darin Damery, and City Clerk Janet Waller.
Absent was Mayor Page, Alderperson Smith and Treasurer Palmer.
Alderperson Nelsen made a motion to approve the Streets Committee Meeting minutes of September 14, 2022 seconded by Reed.
Under Old Business:
New Business
Concrete work will begin next week. The corner of Chestnut and Second Street will have the ADA ramp done while they are doing other concrete work in the City.
Salt has been ordered with MFT.
The committee decided on black for the color of the concession roof shed.
The leaf vac program is scheduled to start on October 24 thru November 30.
Alderperson Reed made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:41 pm.
