Macoupin County Board Building and Grounds Committee met Jan. 2.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
I. CALL TO ORDER
PRESENT: Starr, Armour, Barr, Heuer, Ibberson, Duncan, Kahl
ABSENT: Kilduff
II. AGENDA ITEMS
1. Sheriff Department's Flooring Bid for Board Room and Balance of Second Floor Starr said that this was to review the bids for the new flooring of the second floor of the jail building after Probation did their floor last fall. He has two bids tonight. He wanted to get that third bid. There was a discussion about how to pay for the project. If the Board wanted to proceed with it, which would probably have maximum cost of $30,000, it would probably max out the budget for additional projects this fiscal year.
Motion by Armour, seconded by Barr to set a deadline of January 16th for the third bid to come in and request the power to act from the Board to make a decision on the bids whether it was two and three bids at that time.
