Macoupin County Board General Administrative Committee met Jan. 4.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

I. CALL TO ORDER

PRESENT: Adden, Kilduff, Blank, Dunnagan, Ibberson, Kiel, Duncan

ABSENT: Acord

II. AGENDA ITEMS

1. Approve Draft Agenda for January Full Board Meeting

Motion by Adden, seconded by Blank to approve the draft agenda for the January full board meeting.

RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] 

MOVER: Ross Adden, Member

SECONDER: John Blank, Board Member

AYES: Adden, Kilduff, Blank, Dunnagan, Ibberson, Kiel

ABSENT: Acord

2. Non-Union Employee Time Sheets

Motion by Adden, seconded by Ibberson to approve the non-union timesheets.

RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

SECONDER: Jim Ibberson, Member

AYES: Adden, Kilduff, Blank, Dunnagan, Ibberson, Kiel

ABSENT: Acord

3. Charter Communications Potential Franchise Agreement for Broadband Expansion The State's Attorney had not yet reviewed the contract and they had questions for him. They also wanted to invite a representative from Charter to be present at the next meeting for any potential questions they had for Charter.

4. Resolution In Opposition to HB5855 Protect Illinois Communities Act

Duncan said Armour had requested this resolution be added to agenda.

Dunnagan said it had no binding effect, but was a way for the Board to voice their opposition.

Motion by Kiel, seconded by Ibberson to recommend to the Board the resolution.

5. Potential Partnership with Farm Bureau for Second Electronic Recycling Event Duncan said after last month's meeting, Mark Dugger with the Farm Bureau had reached out about the Farm Bureau potentially hosting a second electronic recycling event and covering the costs for it.

Motion by Kilduff, seconded by Adden to recommend to the Board partnering with the Farm Bureau for a second electronic recycling event.

RESULT: MOTION TO RECOMMEND [UNANIMOUS]
