1. American Rescue Plan Funding Requests - January Meeting

Duncan passed out the remaining requests from townships for review. There were two from South Otter that had been turned in as a hard copy but had misplaced them. They were normal requests and he asked they be recommended as well.

Motion by Stayton, seconded by Armour to recommend the requests to the full Board.

RESULT: MOTION TO RECOMMEND [UNANIMOUS]

MOVER: Aaron Stayton, Member

SECONDER: Todd Armour, Member

AYES: Adden, Payne, Armour, Dragovich, Heuer, Kiel, Stayton

2. Update on Officials/Department Heads Remote Access to Financial Software

Duncan gave a quick update on officials and department heads having access to the financial software online. They now have the ability to view anything in the system at any time. They have been sent their log-in information as well as an instruction sheet that had been sent to all of them. Effectively, they have the ability to find any information they want, 24/7/365 from anywhere in the world as long as they have an internet connection. This would put an end to any official or department head saying they don't have information from the Clerk's office

3. Overview DIscussion of Property Tax Extensions

Duncan had been asked to do an overview discussion on property tax extensions and process. There was also a discussion about PTELL, how that effects the county's rate, and what the limitation causes.
