Q2 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Montgomery County convicted of sex crimes set for release

There was one offender convicted of a sex crime living in Montgomery County released on parole during the second quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the South Central Reporter.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2018 when he was 58 years old. He is now 63.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
