The majority of students in Bond County schools were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 1,949 students attending Bond County schools, 88.8% were white. multiracial students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 4.5% of Bond County students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Bond County, representing 88.6% of the student body.

Greenville Elementary School had the most diverse student body in Bond County, including African American, Hispanic, multiracial, and white.

In the 2021-22 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county dropped 1.3% when compared to the previous year.
