Clinton County Schools: Central Community High School welcomed the most students in 2021-22 school year

Central Community High School had the highest enrollment among Clinton County schools, welcoming 616 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 53.9% of them were boys, and 46.1% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 96.1% of the student body at Central Community High School.

Among the 18 schools in Clinton County, Wesclin Middle School ranked second in enrollment with 455 students, while Breese Elementary School welcomed 426 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

Central Community High School is a part of Central Community High School District 71, which generally encompasses schools within Clinton County with its main office in Breese.

In the previous school year, Central Community High School had the highest number of students among Clinton County schools.
