There were 78 multiracial students enrolled in Fayette County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that multiracial students made up 3% of the 2,632 students in the county. They were the second most represented ethnicity at the time.

Among the four districts in Fayette County, Vandalia Community Unit School District 203 recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 67 students.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Fayette County.
