A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was submitted to the City of Nashville, Illinois, on October 28, 2024. The request, sent by South Central Reporter, a media organization committed to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, asked for detailed information regarding unpaid parking violations in the city.
Specifically, South Central Reporter requested a list of all currently unpaid parking violations. The requested details include the name of the offender, their address, the amount due for each violation, the date of the violation and the total amount due.
