REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:

COMMUNITY SAFETY: (POLICE, FIRE, EMS)

1. Motion to ask Pana Township to reduce the speed limit on 200 North Road to 40 mph.

2. Motion to have the speed limit sign on 200 North Road moved further west to slow traffic sooner.

3. Motion to add a “Caution Hidden Drives” sign on 200 North Road.

4. Motion to put a stop sign at Pana Elementary School and Panther Drive on city property.

COMMUNITY OPERATIONS: (WATER & LAKE, SEWER AND STREETS AND ALLEYS)

1. Motion to approve a one-time water bill adjustment for Mike Garber at 106 S. State St.

2. Motion to approve a one-time water bill adjustment for Michael Rohde at 1 Presnell

3. Motion to approve a one-time water bill adjustment for Larry Spinner at 506 W 5th St.

4. Motion to approve a one-time water bill adjustment for Mike Handy at 813 E 3rd St.

ADMINISTRATION: (FINANCE, PERSONNEL, LEGAL AND INSURANCE)

1. Motion to approve the purchase of pool chemicals from Spear in the amount of $5,599.

2. Motion to approve annual Lexipol contract for Police Department in the amount of $5,074.

3. Motion to approve Theater budget from February through April in the amount of $11,780 and amend the FY 2025 General budget to reflect Theater budget.

4. Motion to allow Pana Community Hospital to remove a tree at 9th and Poplar at their expense.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT: (ZONING, PARK & POOL, COMM. DEVELOPMENT, LIBRARY)

1. Motion to allow Pana Parks Revitalization to proceed with electrical improvements at the park near the Chautauqua at their expense. Work to be done by Brian Lebon Electric

2. Motion to allow Pana Parks Revitalization to proceed with work for rewiring and LED lights at the tennis courts at Kitchell Park at their expense. Work to be done by Brian Lebon Electric

3. Motion to allow Pana Parks Revitalization to host paddle boat races on the Kitchell Park Lagoon as part of the Popcorn Festival activities. Event will be covered under PPRC insurance policy

4. Motion to allow Pana Youth Baseball Softball Organization to run new underground wiring for lighting. Expense will be split between the City of Pana and PYBSO at approximately $1000 total
