Diabetes support and nutrition education will be hosted by registered dietitian and nutritionist Caroline Boehne on Thursday, July 31 at 2:00 pm. The event will take place in the Linda Mobley Room at Salem Township Hospital, located at 1201 Ricker Drive, Salem, IL.
Participants can expect to learn about how food affects blood glucose and receive practical nutrition tips for everyday use. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and share experiences to help shape future group meeting topics.
Light, diabetes-friendly snacks will be provided. The group meetings are free and open to all ages.
