32 Black students enrolled in Montgomery County districts in 2023-24 school year

There were 32 Black students enrolled in Montgomery County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Black students made up 0.8% of the 3,793 students in the county. They were the second least represented ethnicity.

Among the four districts in Montgomery County, Litchfield Community Unit School District 12 recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 17 students.
