City of Breese issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.
CONGRATS to Breese District 12's Dylan Ziegler for breaking the record for 3-pointers in a game at the Trenton Knights of Columbus Council 2932 7th Grade Boys Basketball Tournament. Ziegler made eight 3-pointers and scored 26 points in Breese District 12's 51-26 win over St. Rose on Wednesday.
The previous record for 3-pointers in a game was seven set by Jeremy Timmermann four years ago.
