City of Carlyle Finance Committee met June 14

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Call to Order/Roll Call

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Don Perez at 6:45 p.m. at Case Halstead Library located at 550 6th Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. Committee members present included Don Perez and Jeff Taylor. John Hodapp was absent. Others present included Rita Jurgensmeyer, Mike Meskil, Bruce Hilmes, Scott Diekemper, Mike Jansen, Jeff Miller, Cheryl Brinkmann, Chief Mark Pingsterhaus, Joe Heiligenstein, Jason McIntosh, Shannon Petrea, Dave Miller, Mayor Judy Smith, Andy Brackett, and Martha Reinkensmeyer.

Approval of Minutes

After reviewing the minutes from the May 24, 2021, meeting, Jeff Taylor made a motion to approve the minutes. Don Perez seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.

Approval of Claims

After reviewing the claims, Jeff Taylor made a motion to approve the claims. Don Perez seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.

Old Business

There was no old business. 

New Business

Andy reminded the Committee that there will be a Finance Committee meeting on June 25th to review the budget. The first public hearing will be held on June 28th. 

Any Other Comments

There were no any other comments.

Public Comments

There were no public comments.

Vote on Executive Session Items

The Committee did not enter executive session so there were no executive session items on which to vote. 

Adjournment

With no further business to discuss, Don Perez made a motion to adjourn. Jeff Taylor seconded the motion. Finding all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
