Local CEO Programs visit Kaskaskia College

Recently, students from Little Egypt CEO, Bond County CEO, Clinton County CEO, and Fayette County CEO visited Kaskaskia College to participate in a business-focused activity led by KC Culinary Arts Coordinator Chef Robert Rhymes and KC Assistant Professor of Business Connor Pollmann.

For the activity, participants were split into small groups with students from other local CEOs and participated in a lesson about business risk-taking, trusting teammates, and the importance of communication. After the activity, students were treated to breakfast.

High school CEO programs are entrepreneurship education that seeks to prepare youth to become responsible, enterprising individuals who become entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial thinkers and contribute to economic development and sustainable communities. CEO classes are a part of a year-long program, with classes meeting five days a week to learn about local businesses and the development of the student’s own potential business.  To learn more about what CEO programs can offer, visit www.midlandinstitute.com.
